Additional Instructor Navbar Options

In addition to the options on the navbar detailed in the User Guide, an instructor has access to a few more features.

Import from Canvas

Clicking this button will send you to a page where you can import materials from your Canvas course into HiTA.

A list of files, assignments, and pages will be shown with their availability status on Canvas. You can select the resources you want to import in each of the pages and set the availability of the resources in HiTA.

Note that you cannot import resources that are unpublished on Canvas. However, you can import resources that are not yet available with the same unlock date as on Canvas.

Basic Settings

Clicking this button will send you to a page where you can edit the basic metadata and settings of the course.

Swap Views

Allows you to switch between the student and instructor views of the embedded HiTA instance. You will see what the student sees.
