In addition to the options on the navbar detailed in the, an instructor has access to a few more features.

Instructor Activity View

Import from Canvas

Clicking the Import from Canvas button will allow you to import materials from your Canvas course into HiTA. On this page, click on the button next toResources to begin import.

A list of files, assignments, and pages will be shown with their availability status on Canvas. You can select the resources you want to import in each of the pages and set the availability of the resources in HiTA.

Note that you cannot import resources that are unpublished on Canvas. However, you can import resources that are not yet available with the same unlock date as on Canvas.

Auto-Update

Once you have imported something, you can toggle the auto-update option which will periodically synchronize all published materials in your course, including ones that you did not manually import. Use this option if you do not want to periodically sync the materials manually and want HiTA to see everything published in your course without further action from your end.
